Trekked from Dhampus through to the Annapurna Base Camp for 12 days. This was a fantastic experience, not only for the famous Nepal scenery-the mountains, valleys and waterfalls etc - but also, and perhaps especially, the company of the local people introduced through our guide Bhanu. Bhanu's attention to our every need, his good humor and many friends ensured an experience never to be forgotten. It was clear our first-time porter Ramesh also throughly enjoyed the trip-another testiment to Bhanu's ability as a guide and 'boss'. We have no hesitation in recommending Encounters Nepal as an excellent organisation.
