Jhomolhari Base Camp trekking

The Jhomolhari Base Camp trekking is a seven days trekking from Paro to the Jumolhari base camp at Jangothang. For the return journey there are two alternatives: returning via the same route or by a different trail to Paro. The view of Jumolhari mountain (7314 metres) from Jangothang is spectacular. It is very likely that you will encounter Yaks on the popular Jhomolhari Base Camp trekking. The highest point is 4115 meters above sea level.

Day 1 - Paro – Shana
Day 2 - Shana – Thangthangka
Day 3 - Thangthangka – Jangothang
Day 4 - Jangothang (rest day and sightseeing)
Day 5 - Jangothang – Thangthangka
Day 6 - Thangthangka – Shana
Day 7 - Shana - Paro
