The province of Salzburg with his capital Salzburg, famous for being the hometown of the vomposer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The province has also a great nature to offer. Salzachtal Valley with a unique spectacle of nature: the Krimmler Falls. Thirteen glaciers feed the falls which fall 395 meter. Lake Koenigssee, the Hallein salt mine and some of the world´s largest ice cave´s situated in the Tennengebirge mountain range, opposite the Burg Hohenwerfen castle, are also among the attractions of the Province of Salzburg.
