French Alps is just the part of the whole Alps mountain range which lies in the France. This part lies within the regions of Provence-Alpes-Cote d’Azur and Rhone-Alpes. The famous Mont Blanc is the highest point of French Alps and whole of Europe. The whole Alps mountain range strethes from France in the west, via Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Italy and Germany in the middle; to Austria and Slovenia in the East.
