Pakistan trekking information

The K2, Concordia,  Ghondhgoro la trek in Nothern Pakistan offers pretty challenging and remote trekking in a spectacular and diverse Himalaya scenery of snow capped lofty mountains, beautiful valleys and rivers and emerald green lakes. The area is the home of the snow leopards and the Ibex. It is a strenuous trek with the highest point (Ghondhgoro la) around 5700 meter.

First you will have to drive (roughly 24 hours) or fly to Skardu from where it is a full day drive to Askole to starting point of the trek.

Day 1 Askole to Korophone
Day 2 Korophone to Jhula
Day 3 Jhula to Paiju
Day 5 Paiju- rest and acclimatization day
Day 6 Paiju to Urdukas
Day 7 Urdukas to Goro
Day 8 Goro to Concordia
Day 9 Concordia - rest day with possibility to explore K2 base camp
Day 10 Concordia  to Ali camp
Day 11 Ali camp to Khuspang via the Gondogoro pass
Day 12 Khuspang
Day 13 Khuspang  to Dalsangpa
Day 14 Dalsangpa to Shaicho
Day 15 Shaicho to Hushey

From Huskey again it is a full day drive back to Skardu.
