Mount KailashMount Kailash - North face is the renowned and holiest pilgrimage sites of Western Tibet which has special value for Hindus and Buddhists. It is also the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in Asia. In Tibetan language Mt. Kailas is called as “Gang Rinpoche”. Mt. Kailas is a sacred place for four religions – Hinduism, Buddhism, Janinism and Bon faith. Mt. Kailas is situated near Lake Manasarowar and Lake Rakshastal in Tibet. Mt. Kailas is the most important peak in the world that has not seen any (known) mountain climbing attempts.

Day 1 – Simikot to Yakba Khola

Day 2 – Yakba Khola to Chumsa Khola

Day 3 – Chumsa Khola to Muchu

Day 4 – Muchu to Tharo Dhunga

Day 5 – Tharo Dhunga to Sher – Drive from Sher to Taklakot

Day 6 – Drive to Darchan

Day 7 – Darchan to Damding Donkhang

Day 8 – Damding Donkhang to Jarok Donkhang

Day 9 – Jarok Donkhang to Zutul-puk

Day 10 – Zutul-puk to Darchan

Day 11 – Drive to Taklakot or Sher

The best time to do the trek to Mount Kailash is from the month of July to September.
