The Black Forest trekking information

The Black Forest is a wooded mountain range in Baden-Wurttemberg, southwestern Germany, which borders by the Rhine valley to the west and south. The shape of the area is almost rectangular. Feldberg (1493m) is the highest peak of the Black Forest.

You can find pines, firs in the Black Forest and the main industry at the Black Forest is tourism. Freiburg and Baden-Baden are popular destination of Black Forest and Vogtsbauernhofe is also another attraction of Black Forest. It is an open air museum which shows the life of 16th or 17th century farmers of the region.
