Bavarian Forest trekking information

The Bavarian Forest is a low mountain range in Bavaria, Germany which extends to the Czech border. A portion of the Bavarian Forest is taken by the Nationalpark Bayerischer Wald which was established in the year 1970 as the first national park in Germany. The highest mountain in Bavarian Forest is the Grober Arber which is 1456m tall.
