Tamil Nadu is the 28th state of India. It is also the 11th largest state of India and 6th most crowded state of India. It is the homeland of Tamils. The culture and artwork of Tamil Nadu is known as the oldest in the world.
Tamil Nadu is rich in Fauna and Flora. It has wide ranges of Biomes, South Western Ghats montane rain forests, 2000 species of wildlife and 3000 plants species which includes Eucalyptus, Palmyra, Rubber, Cinchona etc.
Tamil Nadu’s tourist industry is the second largest in India. It has some great Hindu temples such as Mahabalipuram which have been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It has also gained its name as the home to many beautiful hill stations.
