The South West Coast Path is the spectacular 613-mile (9870 km) National Trail around the tip of Britain. You can choose to do a part of this trek, like from Minehead to Padstow, a distance of 163 miles (262 km). The Trail traces the beautiful coastline, through Exmoor National Park, Clovelly and Tintagel, following the Countryside Agency's acorn waymarks. There are many guidebooks and walking maps available of the South West Coast Path.
One other part you can walk from this Path is from Newquay to Looe or from Plymouth to Swanage. You can for instance also do the small hike from Minehead to Porlock, which is only 13 km, so about 5 hours of walk. There are many possibilities to do a part of the total South West Coast Path. There is no doubt that you will enjoy it very much. The trek and surroundings are spectacular and varied, sometimes challenging, and it is along some of the finest coastal scenery in Europe.
