Tiger Leaping Gorge trek

Tiger Leaping Gorge is a canyon on the Yangtze River and also a World Heritage Site.

There are two trails to enjoy the Tiger Leaping Gorge one is the higher route which has 24-bend path and the lower – new road. Only higher route is worth for hiking. You will find the pointing out the paths and the way to the guesthouse during the high trail trek. It is an independent hiker’s first choice in China.

High trail is well marked with signs, welcoming and clear lodging and wonderful landscapes and used by Naxi as part of their everyday life. Tiger Leaping Gorge features a surprising variety of micro ecosystems, waterfalls and a fair number of guesthouses for trekkers.

Hikers can enjoy the wild, isolated nature along the High trail. The higher trail starts from Qiaotou through the Gorge, which takes the hikers to the waterfalls and normally inundated by rockslides.
